Before You Attend
So you’re coming to a sound bath—yay!
Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, here’s everything you need to know to feel relaxed, prepared, and fully tuned in.
✨ What Is a Sound Bath
A sound bath is a deeply meditative experience where you're gently “bathed” in healing frequencies from crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, and more. These vibrations work their magic on your nervous system—melting stress, clearing energy, and helping your body reset on a cellular level.
You don’t do anything. Just show up, get comfy, and let the sounds guide you into a state of calm, clarity, and release.
💫 What to Expect
The space will be quiet, cozy, and intentionally set for rest and restoration. Most sessions take place in dim lighting with soft ambient energy.
A typical session lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, including time to settle in and integrate the experience afterward.
You’ll lie down on a mat or rest in a comfortable seated position as we take you on a vibrational journey.
Sessions start on time. Doors close promptly, so we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to settle in and soak up the vibe.
🧘♀️ What to Wear
Comfy clothes are the move. Think loungewear, soft layers, and cozy socks. You’ll be still for a bit, so dress like you're about to take the most magical nap of your life.
🧺 What to Bring
Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable. We’ll have a limited number of mats, bolsters, eye masks and blankets available, but not enough for everyone. To ensure you’re fully supported, we recommend bringing your own mat, blanket, pillow, or anything else that helps you relax and settle in.
Yoga mat or camping pad
Blanket
Pillow or neck support
Eye mask or scarf
Favorite crystal or intention object
Water bottle (hydration = healing)
If you can not lie on the ground you are always welcome to bring a small chair, wheelchairs are always allowed!
🌀 Mental + Emotional Prep
No experience necessary. Newbies welcome. You don’t need to know how to meditate or “do it right.”
Let go of expectations. Everyone’s experience is unique. You might drift off, see colors, feel emotional, or just feel really relaxed. It’s all valid.
Be present. Try to arrive with an open heart and give yourself permission to just be.
🔉 What You Might Feel
Sound healing can stir the soul in beautiful and unexpected ways. You may feel:
Deep relaxation
Emotional release (tears are welcome here)
Tingling, floating, or grounding sensations
Peace, stillness, or even clarity
If anything feels too intense, silently raise your hand and we’ll support you gently and respectfully.
🎶 Dissonance and Resolution
A sound bath is more than just beautiful tones—it's a journey.
During a session, you may notice moments where the sounds feel a little intense, layered, or even slightly uncomfortable. This is called dissonance. These sounds are intentionally used to help stir up stagnant energy, release emotional blocks, and move what’s ready to shift.
After that, you’ll feel the tones begin to soften and harmonize. This is resolution—where the body and mind begin to settle, realign, and deeply relax.
The gentle contrast between dissonance and resolution creates a powerful experience of energetic release, followed by calm, clarity, and balance. It's like a story told through sound—one that your body deeply understands.
💦 After Your Session
Take it slow. Drink water, stretch, and give yourself time to land.
A sound bath can shift your energy in subtle or powerful ways, so try not to rush back into the chaos. If possible, give yourself the gift of a quiet evening afterward.
